Mafia: Behind the Bloodshed, the documentary series co-produced by Picasso Film and Svet Solutions Media, is now on air in the Netherlands. HISTORY is showing the series on Thursday evenings at 21:25, with broadcasts on 22 and 29 October.
Directed by Max Serio, the four-part series looks at some of the world's most powerful criminal organisations: the Russian Vory, the Yakuza, the 'Ndrangheta and the Triads. It tells their stories through the voices of former members, the people who investigated them and the women who escaped them, drawing on testimony, wiretaps and court records.
The series premiered in the UK on Sky History in October 2026 and now reaches Dutch audiences on HISTORY under the same title.
We look forward to sharing news of further territories as the series reaches new audiences. Find out more about the series.
